How to book a Tesla test drive

In brief: book through Tesla's official website or app. Choose a model, location, and appointment, and bring a valid driver's license. A test drive does not commit you to buy; this website does not organize it.

Step 1: Choose an appointment on the official website

Open Tesla's official German test-drive page, choose a model, provide your contact details, and select a Tesla location with an available appointment. Tesla shows the current form and availability during booking; only that official information is decisive.

Step 2: Requirements and preparation

You need a valid driver's license and may also need to show an ID. Decide in advance what you want to test. Note questions about daily use, charging, and configuration, and your usual routes, to make the most of the short test drive.

  • Packed a valid driver's license and an ID if required?
  • Know the model and configuration you want to test?
  • Prepared questions about range, charging, and delivery?

Step 3: Test the vehicle and reflect afterward

During the drive, assess what specifications cannot show: seating position, visibility, handling on your usual routes, and controls. Then decide calmly whether to order. Separately check the benefits displayed in the official process before every order. The guide Checks before ordering a Tesla explains the sequence, while Tesla discounts: ways to save explains savings beyond the Referral program referral program.
